As a Grief and Loss Counsellor with Catholic Care Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, the social welfare agency of the Diocese of Parramatta, Harrison accompanies people burdened by grief and loss who are struggling to find hope.
“I feel very privileged to be able to sit with people and support them when they’re at their lowest,” Harrison says.
Many are burdened by grief made heavier by financial pressures, including food insecurity, housing and rent affordability, and job instability.
