Catholic Healthcare Formation and Support gathering (22 Feb)

The Diocese of Parramatta is hosting the first of monthly Healthcare Formation and Support Masses at Our Lady of the Angels Parish, Rouse Hill, on Sunday 22 February, (1st Sunday of Lent) commencing 5:30 p.m.  There will be an afternoon tea before the Mass from 4:00pm to 5:00pm for those who wish to attend for networking and support purposes.

The purpose of the Mass is to offer formation and support for anybody involved in the Healthcare ministry of the Church. At a fundamental level, the healthcare ministry of the Church is founded on the love of Jesus for the sick and the dying.

These Masses seek to articulate and develop a synodal vision of communion, participation and mission in healthcare, and is consistent with Resolution 5A of the Diocesan Pastoral Plan –  To strengthen our commitment to respect and protect the dignity of human life, from conception through to old age and natural death.

Young Catholics discerning their vocation in life would be welcome to these Masses.  Any other parishioners interested in exploring this area of healthcare are also welcome to attend.
