Nostra Aetate Interfaith Human Library (30 October)

Join the Interfaith Commission of the Catholic Diocese of Parramatta as we celebrate 60 years of Nostra Aetate with a special Interfaith Human Library.

Meet ‘Human Books’ from Muslim, Jewish, Hindu and Buddhist communities to learn more about their traditions and consider our commonalities and differences.

This is a great opportunity to develop interfaith understanding, participate in respectful dialogue, challenge stereotypes and build meaningful connections.

Also, Secondary Teachers’ who teach Studies of Religion will be able to hear first-hand from people practising the Muslim, Jewish, Hindu and Buddhist faiths.

The event will conclude with a short reflection, hymns and prayers for Peace.
