FreeMany people in our communities struggle to find a home, due to high prices to rent or buy, lack of availability, or lack of social housing. And our current housing system comes with many other challenges, e.g., related to renters’ rights.
At this Table Talk, you are invited to hear and discuss inspiring stories from people affected and insightful information from an expert. Participate in meaningful small group conversations, ask questions, and learn how you can participate in developing a fairer housing system.
This Diocesan Table Talk will take place in the lead-up to national Homelessness Week (5-11 August 2024). It is part of the 2024 Peace, Justice, Ecology Table Talk Series.
7:00pm – 7:30pm: Light dinner at the Bingo Hall (after 6:00pm Mass)
7:30pm – 9:30pm: Table Talk Program
