OUR WORKS
Catholics support many areas of public life including education, health, scientific research, aged care, local and international aid, sport, working with indigenous people, working with those living with disability, working with those suffering from mental illness, seeking rights for workers, crisis accommodation, environmental issues, migrants and refugees, young people and families.
Here is a snapshot of the many areas the Diocese supports the community.

Peace, Justice, Ecology
The Peace, Justice, Ecology Team, as part of MET Parramatta, identifies, reflects on, and responds to issues which affect society and the natural environment, especially the most vulnerable and marginalised. The team disseminates information, supports parishes and schools in taking action, and liaises with like-minded welfare and social justice organisations.

Worship
Office for Worship
The Office for Worship serves the diocese in the area of liturgical formation, coordination and practice; and assists local parish communities to implement diocesan policy regarding the Sacraments of Initiation for Children (SOI) and Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
