The Parramatta Diocesan Archives primarily hold records from 1986 onwards, with a small quantity of pre-1986 records, including early land grants and correspondence from the Archbishops of Sydney transferred from the Sydney Archdiocesan Archives.

The Peace, Justice, Ecology Team, as part of MET Parramatta, identifies, reflects on, and responds to issues which affect society and the natural environment, especially the most vulnerable and marginalised. The team disseminates information, supports parishes and schools in taking action, and liaises with like-minded welfare and social justice organisations.

The Office for Worship serves the diocese in the area of liturgical formation, coordination and practice; and assists local parish communities to implement diocesan policy regarding the Sacraments of Initiation for Children (SOI) and Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).

The Diocese of Parramatta is proactive in promoting ecumenism and interreligious dialogue. As of 2015 we have two separate commissions to advance this effort – one for Ecumenism and one for Interreligious.
