OUR COUNCILS
ABOUT THE DIOCESAN PASTORAL COUNCIL
The Council consists of ten to twenty members who together represent good awareness and experience of the Diocese and offer key pastoral advice to our Bishop.
The Diocesan Pastoral Council meets four times per year (or more if required) with necessary support resources and a thoughtful process for facilitation prepared in advance. Members pursue necessary actions, consultation and ongoing research between meetings.
The Diocesan Pastoral Council along with our bishop, will work into 2019 and beyond and ensure that we continue to be heard, and that we respond at a diocesan level.

ABOUT THE DEANERY PASTORAL COUNCILS
Each Deanery Pastoral Council consists of two lay representatives from each parish in the deanery, along with the Dean. Each Deanery Pastoral Council meets four times per year (or more if required). There is Diocesan preparation support of various helpful resources for the meeting, a part of which is preparation support for the facilitation process.
Our Deanery Pastoral Councils (regional groups) will work in 2019 and beyond, and ensure that we continue to be heard, and that we respond at a regional level.
