X Factor star priest coming to Parramatta
A former contestant on The X Factor will be bringing his heavenly music to Parramatta for one night only.
Father Rob Galea, a Catholic priest, and 2015 contestant on the hit television show The X Factor will perform live to adoring and faithful fans. His concert will commence 7.30pm Friday 8 April at Riverside Theatre Parramatta.
Father Rob tours both domestically and internationally and his music and speaking tours are seen by over 200,000 people each year.
James Camden, Director of Catholic Youth, Diocese of Parramatta, is helping bring the international superstar to Parramatta.
“Father Rob Galea is well-known to Catholics and non-Catholics alike and regularly performs on television, to packed-out concerts and local churches. His music and talent is internationally recognised. We are very lucky to be hosting him right here in Western Sydney,” Mr Camden said.
“Father Rob is a charismatic, down to earth and very talented musician. People of all ages will warm to his genuine and honest stories about life and the challenges that he met before becoming a priest. He has just returned from a successful tour of the USA where is was performing to tens of thousands of youth and young adults. This will be his only full production concert in Australia this year.”
Father Rob will perform with his eight-piece band and is available for interviews on Friday 8 April between 2-3pm.
