Meet the team

Qwayne Guevara
Manager
Qwayne Guevara is passionate about building community and has experience co-creating opportunities where young people are welcomed to foster authentic friendships, realise their gifts for mission and service, and encounter Christ in their daily lives. She spent several years in advocacy and law before a profound encounter of God at World Youth Day 2016 compelled her to pursue a call to ministry locally. Qwayne holds a Master of Laws in Dispute Resolution and is studying a Graduate Diploma of Theology at The University of Notre Dame. Qwayne has also been appointed by Bishop Vincent as the Lead Facilitator of the Diocesan Synod in 2023 to 2025.

Genevieve Lee
Project Cooridnator
Genevieve has a heart for the Church and its young people. Serving as Youth Coordinator at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta and working in education for the past 3 years, Genevieve has had the opportunity to mentor and foster relationships with young people from all paths of life. Genevieve is passionate about grassroots development and ensuring Youth Ministers feel supported and equipped to be a leader in their local communities. Outside of ministry, Genevieve enjoys playing guitar and is an avid Rugby 7’s supporter.Genevieve will focus on working with local youth leaders to assist in planning and developing their ministry and coordinating initiatives aimed at facilitating opportunities for community and formation.

Eleanor Bonwick
Project Cooridnator
Eleanor has a passion to spread the Gospel and to inspire young people to do the same. Having served for over 6 years in both voluntary and paid roles within the Servants of Jesus Community, Eleanor brings a wealth of experience in youth and young adults ministry across national and international borders. Within these roles, Eleanor managed various educational events and programs with a focus on Christian formation and creating pathways for young people to flourish in their faith. Eleanor has completed studies in Leadership and Pastoral Care and is currently studying Theology and History through the University of Notre Dame. Outside of ministry, Eleanor can be found at her local café, local beach or exploring hikes in the bush. Eleanor will help support our leaders in youth ministry through ongoing training and online resource development, alongside facilitating formation events and social justice initiatives for the young people of Parramatta, enabling opportunities for community and growth.
