Annual Walk on the Solemnity of the Assumption (15 August)

Event Details

The pilgrimage begins with 11:00am Mass at the Franciscan Shrine of the Holy Innocents (8 Greyfriar Place, Kellyville).

Following Mass, pilgrims will depart promptly at 12:30pm for the 14km walk along Windsor Road to St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta.

A refreshment stop will be provided at St Michael’s Catholic Church, Baulkham Hills at approximately 2:00pm, followed by a second stop at St Monica’s Catholic Church, North Parramatta at approximately 4:00pm.

The pilgrimage will conclude at St Patrick’s Cathedral at approximately 6:00pm with final prayers and readings, bringing to a close this day of prayer, fellowship, and devotion in honour of Our Lady on the Solemnity of the Assumption.

Banners and statues are welcome.
