You are warmly invited to the annual St Josephine Bakhita Memorial Mass & Community Celebration.

The South-Sudanese and Sudanese Catholic Community, supported by the Mission Enhancement Team, will celebrate their national patron saint, share their spirituality, culture and cuisine.

This is also an opportunity to raise awareness of and pray for the victims of modern slavery and human trafficking, as St Josephine Bakhita is recognised as their patron saint.

DATE: 8 February 2026
MASS: 12:30pm for a 1:00pm start
CELEBRANT: Bishop Vincent Long OFM Conv
COMMUNITY CELEBRATION: approx. 2:30pm – 4:30pm

VENUE: St Patrick’s Church (51-59 Allawah St) & All Saints of Africa Centre (63 Allawah St), Blacktown.

Refreshments will be provided.
