Office for Worship
The Office for Worship serves the diocese in the area of liturgical formation, coordination and practice; and assists local parish communities to implement diocesan policy regarding the Sacraments of Initiation for Children (SOI) and Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
Services include courses and workshops at diocesan, regional and local level; resources and information and consultancy on request.

Ministers of the Word
For Readers and Commentators formation and training on proclaiming the Gospel.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
For Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion, serving at the altar during Mass.
Communion to the Sick and Dying
Training and formation on serving and ministering to the Sick and Dying in our parish communities.
Senior Servers and Acolytes
Comprehensive training for ministers who wish to serve at the altar during Mass for their parish. To become an Acolyte, you must attend all the previous ministries to qualify for attending the Acolyte sessions.
All applications need to be endorsed by your parish Priest prior to attending the first Introductory session.
Upon completion of the final session, certificates will be issued to your local Parish to be distributed and an order of commissioning.
