In October 2021, the Catholic Church in Australia will gather for the first Assembly of the Plenary Council to be held since the second Vatican Council.
Through the Plenary Council, the Australian Catholic Church will explore what the future of our Church should look like, as the culture in which we proclaim the Gospel changes.
We all have a role to play in the future of our Church.

Walking in the Spirit

Australian Catholics have been invited to make the prayerful journey together towards the Second Assembly of the Plenary Council through the Walking in the Spirit prayer pilgrimage.

The pilgrimage begins on Easter Sunday, April 17 2022, and continues until the opening of the Second Assembly on Sunday, July 3 2022.

Below you will find various resources, including bulletin notices, general intercessions and prayers, which have been created for you to use on your own, with your family, at school, in your parish, or in other Catholic spaces.
