I have a right to feel safe!
As part of our Parish activities, we have adults who supervise our safety and help us grow in our faith. These adults – whether they are clergy, parish staff, or volunteers – all have:
- Rules to follow
- Responsibilities to act properly
Adults who look after children in all kids activities at schools, sport and church are required to work and behave in a way that keeps young people safe.
Adults who work and volunteer with children and young people are required by law to do the right thing and follow the rules set out for them.
These adults have a Working With Children Check. Their work with children is part of the Reportable Conduct Scheme.
It is not ok if their behaviour breaks those rules when they are responsible for me.

It’s OK for me to say “NO”!
