Become a Workplace Giver

I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples

Workplace Giving means you can give to ministries and charities you care about as a pre-tax donation, directly from your pay. It’s easy, it’s effective and it delivers low-cost, efficient and much-needed funding to important Catholic causes.

You can contribute a portion of your pre-tax salary to your chosen charity fortnightly. The tax deduction takes effect immediately, lowering your taxable income, so you don’t have to wait until the end of financial year. This means you can give more... for less.

For example, if you donate $20 before tax from your pay, it only costs you $13.50* but your chosen charity will receive the full $20.

* Amount based on an annual salary of $65,000.  For further information on the exact amount related to your salary, please contact the ATO, your financial adviser or tax agent / accountant.

THE VIRTUE OF CHARITY

Charity is the theological virtue by which we love God above all things for His own sake, and our neighbour as ourselves for the love of God. It means an unlimited loving-kindness towards all others; providing for those in need, generosity and giving.

You are invited to consider sharing your blessings and supporting our sisters and brothers in need through the following Catholic charities. Each charity is committed to making our world a better place, supporting the dignity of every human, and working alongside the most vulnerable of people so that they can live fulfilling lives.

Each charity provides us with the opportunity to “go out into the deep” and “become the community Christ calls us to be.”
