Donate to Catholic Care Western Sydney & Blue Mountains
Do you believe in lending a helping hand to those in need? Catholic Care is a lifeline for countless individuals and families facing challenges in our community, including the homeless, women and children fleeing domestic violence, the elderly, migrants and refugees and First Nations people living in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
Your tax-deductible donation can provide support and professional care to the most vulnerable, disadvantaged members of the community.
Helping our neighbours in need
Catholic Care is on the frontlines, providing vital support to our most vulnerable neighbours, regardless of faith, religion, gender, ethnicity, age or socio-economic background. Your generous donation can make a real difference in their lives of:
- The homeless: Providing safe shelter, food, and support programs to help people get back on their feet.
- Women and children escaping domestic violence: Offering safe havens, counselling, and legal aid to rebuild their lives.
- People in hospitals and prison: Our chaplains care for the isolated, incapacitated, seriously ill, elderly and dying with their prayers and healing gift of presence.
- The elderly: Providing in-home care, social connection, and companionship to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Migrants and refugees: Assisting with settlement, language barriers, and integration into our community.
- First Nations communities: Working alongside First Nations people to address disadvantage and promote cultural identity.
Here’s how you can make a lasting impact:
- Make a one-time donation: Your gift can help provide emergency shelter, food, and support services to those in urgent need.
- Become a monthly donor: Your regular gift can help fund essential programs and resources for people fleeing domestic violence, people with disabilities, the elderly, migrants, refugees, and Aboriginal communities.
- Spread the word: Share this page with your friends, family, and fellow parishioners. Let’s work together to provide hope and empower people to rebuild their lives.
As followers of Jesus, we have been called to learn from Him and to follow in His footsteps, by being a Good Samaritan to our neighbours in need. In the Gospels, we often saw Jesus on a constant journey. On this journey, He encounters people from all sorts of lives and with diverse problems. However, Jesus is not someone who just walks by without being touched by the reality that people experience.

With your help, we can continue to offer a lifeline to those in need, empower individuals, and foster a more compassionate community.
