FreeThe Diocese of Parramatta is organising a free healthcare workshop to explore the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference’s Voluntary Assisted Dying statement: “To Witness and to Accompany with Christian Hope” on Saturday 4 May at the St Patrick’s Cathedral Hall, Parramatta, from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Lunch will be provided.
This free event will explore the guidelines in the statement in terms of:
- Being at peace with death
- Living in hope in the face of death
- Looking forward to meeting loved ones after death as we wait for loved ones coming after us.
All are welcome to attend including medical practitioners, high school students interested in becoming Health Professionals, University students, Staff working in Aged Care, disability services, allied health, Diocesan Clergy, parishioners, Members of other Christian churches or faiths. Anyone interested in treating others with love, friendship, dignity and respect at all stages of life.
