The Diocese of Parramatta is committed to nurturing the spiritual growth and fellowship of Catholic women across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains. Alongside parish-based groups and lay ministries, we host events and gatherings designed to uplift and empower women from diverse walks of life and aim to provide a supportive community for Catholic women to thrive in their faith and personal lives. It’s an inspiring space where women can come as they are, share their stories, and find strength through their shared experiences.
At the Well Gatherings
“At the Well” is a gathering where women from across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains come together on a Friday evening to share their faith journey, discuss their experience of and insight into specific aspects of faith, and support one another in an intimate and encouraging environment.
Hosted twice a year by the Diocese’s Mission Enhancement Team, the gatherings usually involve time to share a meal, pray, reflect on a specific topic or piece of scripture, ask questions to a panel of Catholic women, and engage in group discussion. The evening is an opportunity for women to delve into topics of faith, social engagement, and personal and professional development, and is designed to provide women of all ages a dedicated space and time to connect, reflect, discuss, and forge meaningful connections while deepening their relationship with God.
