“It’s an honour to serve our priests.”
– Ellen Small, Clergy Healthcare Coordinator.

Our humble priests have selflessly cared for our faith community’s spiritual nourishment and wellbeing for all their lives. When their time comes to retire, many are without family to support them and assist with the everyday essentials for a comfortable retirement.

Our Clergy Health and Wellbeing team provides personalised care for our priests, including assistance with daily living needs, medical care and mental health support, and ensures they remain connected with their faith community.

“At 80 years of age, knowing the Clergy Support Foundation is there puts my mind at ease. I know one day I’ll need much more care and support.”
– Fr Arthur Cook, retired priest.

Will you help care for our retired priests who have devoted their lives to care for us?

Our priests never stop giving their lives in service to our Catholic community

On Father’s Day, we acknowledge and give prayerful thanks to all our priests who have dedicated their lives to being servants of the Gospel, for God’s people.

Even in retirement, in sickness and in health, our priests continue to carry out God’s ministry without question, staying involved in parish life and doing our Father’s work for as long as they are able. Their vocation never ends, and neither does our shared responsibility to support them in any way we can.

As Catholics, we are called to ensure there is always someone to care for our retired priests and those in ill‑health, just as they will always love and care for us.

With your generous gift and prayers, our Clergy Support Foundation can ensure our priests will have personalised, compassionate care when needed.

Thank you and God bless you for your kindness.
