Join us for World Youth Day Seoul in 2027!

Young people (18-35 yrs) from Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains are invited to journey with the Diocese of Parramatta to South Korea for World Youth Day 2027.

Join hundreds of thousands of young Catholics from around the world as we come together to celebrate our faith, encounter different cultures and experience the joy of the universal Church.

World Youth Day brings together young Catholics from every corner of the world to celebrate the joy and diversity of our faith. It’s an opportunity to meet people from different cultures and communities, share stories and experiences, and discover how our faith unites us across every difference.

WYD27 Theme

“Take courage! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

The late Pope Francis left us with this powerful theme for World Youth Day 2027. This verse, spoken by Jesus to his disciples at the Last Supper, reminds us of the irrevocable truth that despite the challenges of the world, Christ has already conquered fear, sin, and death. It is a call to hope and courage rooted in faith in the resurrection—not a passive optimism, but a bold confidence grounded in the living presence of Christ.
