Josephite Sisters RSJ – Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart

Founded by Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop and Father Julian Tenison Woods, 1866, in Penola, South Australia. The original focus of the congregation was on Catholic education in rural areas. In the spirit of our founders we continue to respond to emerging needs of our time throughout Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Timor Leste, Brazil and Ireland.
