Seniors Spirituality Program
A flexible, engaging program that helps parishioners aged 50+ grow in faith, community, and purpose. Activities include virtual pilgrimages, day retreats, book clubs, interfaith discussions, and seasonal prayer programs. Enquire about the program.

Recognition
We honour the wisdom, faith, and contribution of older persons through a variety of initiatives, including Diocesan and Parish-based wedding anniversary Masses, support for older clergy and religious via the Clergy Support Foundation, and recognition programs like the annual Papal and Diocesan Awards, which celebrate outstanding service across all ages.

Wellbeing morning teas
Regular gatherings coordinated by the Office of Safeguarding that focus on wellbeing, safety, and safeguarding for older parishioners, fostering community and support networks.

Parish prayer and social groups
Opportunities for older parishioners to pray, reflect, and learn together, nurturing spiritual growth and fellowship. Contact your local parish to find out what’s on.

Aged care support
Our social welfare agency, Catholic Care, supports older persons through the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS), matching trained volunteers with seniors in aged care facilities to provide friendship, companionship, and community connection.

Ephpheta Centre
Providing pastoral care, advocacy, and faith support for people who are deaf and hard-of-hearing in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, ensuring full inclusion in parish life. Learn more.
