In the Diocese of Parramatta, I believe we have very big hearts. More often than not, we are willing to share the little we have with our loved ones around us, our families abroad and our friends. I also know many of you, if you aren’t already, are willing to give yourselves in service to the Church, but often don’t know where to start, nor have the time to begin. Our ministries make a difference
For decades, the Catholic Church in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains has supported hundreds of thousands of lives through spiritual nourishment, evangelisation, pastoral care, chaplaincy, social welfare services, practical help, charitable and educational programs. Our ministries, including Holy Spirit Seminary, Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (catechists), Clergy Support Foundation, the Ephpheta Centre (supporting people who are deaf or hard of hearing), and Catholic Care Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, support almost every area of humanitarian and spiritual need.
These ministries provide practical care, spiritual support, and pathways of hope for those facing hardship, standing with people in their most vulnerable moments. Your generosity ensures they can continue this mission with dignity and compassion.
Clergy Support Foundation: Provides dedicated assistance and support to our older and unwell priests in the Diocese. After a lifetime of service to local communities, our priests rely on the Diocese for care, comfort and support in their later years. Your generosity helps us honour their ministry and accompany them with gratitude.
Parish stewardship: You can support your parish directly. Your gifts and talents help sustain parish life, fund pastoral programs and initiatives, and allow worship and outreach to thrive. While direct parish donations are not tax deductible, they remain a meaningful way to strengthen and enrich your local faith community.
